Description:
Blink Health is seeking a Senior Data Analyst in New York, NY, to become an expert on company data and understand the operations and product features that generate it.
The role involves recommending ways to present and share company data with stakeholders in a digestible manner.
The analyst will make recommendations on better utilizing company data and sharing it within the organization.
Responsibilities include driving weekly, monthly, and quarterly reviews for all stakeholders to articulate what happened, why, and what actions are being taken to accelerate growth.
The position requires driving ad-hoc analytics to unlock insights into critical business and client questions.
The analyst will develop and help deliver partner business reviews and partner with teams across the company to ensure key growth initiatives are implemented successfully.
The role emphasizes exemplary ownership in creating and maintaining data artifacts and requires performing peer code and architecture reviews while designing for data integrity, reliability, and performance.
Requirements:
A Master's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Systems, or a related field is required, along with 4 years of experience.
Candidates must have 4 years of experience in data analysis, reporting and dashboarding in Tableau, SQL, and distilling actionable insights from data.
A minimum of 2 years of experience driving regular business reviews is also required.
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or its equivalent) is necessary, along with 10 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or in a related Engineering occupation.
Candidates must have 10 years of experience in Python software development, building solutions for real-time applications, and maintaining robust and scalable data integration (ETL) pipelines using SQL, EMR, Python, and Spark.
Experience in writing complex SQL queries, designing and maintaining columnar databases (Redshift or Snowflake), and distributed data processing (Hadoop, Spark, or Hive) is required.
Familiarity with ETL tools (AWS Data Pipeline or Airflow), streaming technologies (Kinesis or Kafka), and Business Intelligence tools (Looker or QuickSight) is necessary.
Candidates should have experience in creating scalable data models for analytics and designing and building data lakes with continuous improvement examples.
