Description:
As a data analyst in the Product Division, you will leverage a vast amount of data generated from over 65 million users and 2.35 million stores to enhance the PayPay ecosystem, making it more convenient and cost-effective.
Your work is expected to contribute to the growth and revenue of PayPay by increasing the number of users and usage frequency.
You will be considered for a managerial role within the Data Analyst team, with the decision based on your performance after joining the company.
The expectation is for you to manage the team while also actively contributing as a senior analyst.
You will support product managers and executives in their decision-making process through accurate data analysis.
You will propose ideas based on data analysis results and third-party data to support product and feature development/improvement.
You will define or propose KPIs to monitor product performance and create dashboards for monitoring.
You will engage in team-building activities to foster the growth of the new data analyst team, including knowledge sharing, rule construction, new tool introduction, and member support.
You will collaborate with business planning, marketing, and sales analysts to share analytical knowledge and encourage cross-functional communication.
You will design and build data warehouses and data marts for your assigned product line, ensuring easy access and utilization of product data.
You are expected to facilitate the overall business contribution of the Data Analyst team through technical leadership and coaching to team members.
Requirements:
You must have 6 years of experience or more as a data analyst.
You should have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a manager for a team of data analysts.
Intensive experience in using SQL to extract data and provide insights from data is required.
Proficiency in English at a business professional level is necessary.
You must have Japanese language skills at JLPT N2 or above.
Preferred qualifications include experience in establishing a new product data analysis team, cultivating a data-driven culture in an organization, handling large-scale consumer big data, building data warehouses or data marts, and understanding business context and goals.
Knowledge in statistical analysis and skills related to A/B test design, verification, visualization, and reporting are also preferred.

You will have super flex time with no core hours, typically working from 10:00 am to 6:45 pm.
Holidays include every Saturday, Sunday, national holidays in Japan, New Year's break, and company-designated special days.
Paid leave includes annual leave (up to 14 days in the first year) and personal leave (5 days each year).
The salary is an annual salary paid in 12 installments, based on skills, experience, and abilities, with annual reviews and a special incentive based on company performance and individual contribution.
