Description:
The Business Analytics team is a vital part of Mural’s Data Analytics & PMO organization, dedicated to turning data into actionable insights that align with company priorities and fuel business growth.
As a Senior Marketing Data Analyst, you will shape and execute Mural’s data strategy focusing on consumer marketing and product-led growth (PLG) initiatives.
This role requires a blend of marketing analytics expertise, data fluency, and strategic insight to measure, analyze, and provide recommendations for Marketing teams.
You will work closely with leadership to create actionable insights, build self-service reporting solutions, and develop metric strategies that drive growth and improve decision-making across the organization.
Responsibilities include leveraging analytics tools, optimizing the marketing tech stack, delivering product-led growth insights, creating dashboards and reports, owning change management initiatives, and sharing insights with leadership.
Requirements:
You must have 5+ years of Data Analytics Experience, with proven experience in Marketing Analytics, Consumer Marketing, or Product Analytics, ideally with a focus on PLG or similar growth models.
Expertise in digital marketing tools is required, including hands-on experience with Google Analytics 4 or similar digital analytics tools and marketing platforms like Marketo and Inflection.
Advanced visualization skills are necessary, with demonstrated experience using Tableau or similar visualization tools to convey complex data clearly and impactfully.
Proficiency in SQL is essential, with strong skills to query and manipulate data, along with experience in integrating multiple data sources.
An understanding of Salesforce is important, as exposure and experience with Salesforce data will help drive insights for campaigns.
Exceptional communication skills are required, with a proven ability to break down complex analyses into easily digestible insights for senior leadership.
You should possess problem-solving skills and project ownership, being autonomous, resourceful, and experienced in managing ambiguity and prioritizing multiple projects independently.
Preferred experience includes knowledge of pipeline tools like DBT and Airflow for efficient data processing.
Benefits:
For roles based in New York City, California, Colorado, and Washington, the base salary for this role ranges from $140,000-$160,000 plus benefits.
Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Certain roles may be eligible for variable compensation.
