Description:
As a Senior Data Analyst at komoot, you will work closely with the Product Manager and cross-functional teams to enhance the user experience for outdoor enthusiasts.
You will be responsible for turning data into actionable insights to drive product decisions and shape squad roadmaps.
Designing metrics, creating visualizations, building dashboards, and conducting experiments to validate product hypotheses will be part of your role.
You will contribute to the entire analytics lifecycle, from data collection to generating insights to drive decisions.
Your work will help millions of people explore more of the great outdoors through the komoot app.
Requirements:
Have 3+ years of experience in product analytics, including funnel analysis, cohort analysis, retention analysis, and A/B testing.
Possess excellent SQL skills and be comfortable working with a cloud data warehouse like Redshift, Snowflake, or BigQuery.
Familiarity with Python/Pandas for data analysis and some experience with software development workflows.
Experience using dbt for data transformation and modeling is a plus.
Strong grasp of statistical concepts and the ability to apply them to real-world scenarios.
Effective communication skills for presenting data topics and analysis results in clear and simple language.
Deep understanding of data quality and reliability of results.
Ability to understand business needs and translate abstract problems into technical solutions.
Passion for finding actionable insights and applying rigorous analytical thinking.
Self-driven, able to learn independently, a team player, and willing to help others.
