Description:
The Senior Data Analyst will be part of the data team at Underdog, focusing on developing and delivering key analyses on product features and customer experiences.
This role involves designing, executing, and analyzing experiments in collaboration with product and engineering teams.
The analyst will analyze customer and business performance, identifying trends and investigating root causes.
Responsibilities include creating interactive dashboards, visualizations, and analysis applications to communicate outcomes and insights to stakeholders.
The position requires implementing experimentation best practices and statistical analysis to drive product improvements within the application.
The analyst will lead technical initiatives and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Collaboration with product, engineering, and operations teams is essential to identify data-driven solutions to various business problems.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5 years of experience working with product analysis and feature development, including customer growth, user experience, and feature development.
Strong skills in SQL and data visualization are required.
Experience in product feature testing and experimentation is necessary.
The ideal candidate should be highly focused on delivering results for internal stakeholders in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders are required.
It is preferred that candidates have a strong interest in sports and prior experience in the daily fantasy sports or sports betting industries.
Experience with experimentation tools such as Amplitude, Statsig, or Mixpanel is a plus.
Programming experience with Python and R is also beneficial.
