Description:
The Marketing Analyst team within Sojern’s Science and Optimization group is responsible for innovating and validating new capabilities within Sojern’s marketing platform.
The Senior Data Analyst, SEM will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Software Engineers, Data Scientists, and Applied Scientists to shape the product roadmap and deliver performance for thousands of Sojern’s clients.
This role requires a highly detail-oriented and data-driven SEM expert knowledgeable with SEM platforms, proficient in SQL and Tableau.
The analyst will utilize analytical tools to monitor and analyze key performance metrics, providing regular updates and actionable insights to stakeholders to enhance SEM efforts.
Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive research and analysis to uncover opportunities for scaling SEM automation and optimization, staying informed about industry trends, assessing performance opportunities, collecting feedback from peer analyst teams, and executing AB testing to inform data-driven decisions.
Requirements:
Candidates must have strong problem-solving and analytical skills to develop hypotheses, diagnose, and optimize campaigns running at scale.
A minimum of 5+ years of relevant work experience is required, with 2-4 years of extensive SEM platform expertise, including campaign execution and performance evaluation.
Intermediate/advanced proficiency in SQL and Tableau is necessary for data extraction, troubleshooting, and visualization.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective collaboration and presentation of findings.
A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Business, Economics, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, or Mathematics is required.
Ideal candidates will have some knowledge of Python scripting and experience executing and analyzing AB tests.
