Description:
Protegrity is seeking a passionate and talented Senior Data Analytics Engineer to join their Business Intelligence Team in a remote role.
The individual will be responsible for strengthening Protegrity’s data analytics and information reporting capabilities using modern techniques and tools for efficient scalability.
This position will work closely with the CFO and the overall business to drive advancements in data analytics and company information reporting.
Responsibilities include supporting, defining, and building the data, analytics, and AI stack, as well as managing the building of the data platform for analytics and BI.
The role involves automating all aspects of the data, analytics, and AI stack with DevOps and working with all departments to collect their requirements for analytics and BI.
The individual will document and communicate the outcomes of initiatives clearly to business stakeholders and promote the adoption of advanced analytics across the organization.
The Senior Data Analytics Engineer will guide junior team members and support the development of tools, models, and documentation.
The role also includes supporting sprint/work design and planning.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 6+ years of hands-on experience in the Analytics ecosystem.
Advanced knowledge of Python, PySpark, and SQL is required.
Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure Cloud is necessary.
Candidates should have experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and respective container storage repositories.
Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, and other DevOps tools is required.
Experience with Databricks, Redshift, and/or other database engines is necessary.
Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, PowerBI, Qlik, or other big tools is required.
Candidates should be team players with a problem-solving attitude and experience in delivering advanced analytical projects in complex organizations.
The ability to challenge and review the quality and value generated from analytical output is essential.
Candidates must focus on driving business value to support long-term relationships and support team members in following the culture and strategy.
