Remote Senior Data Analytics Engineer

Description:

• Fullscript is seeking a Senior Data Analytics Engineer for their Data Commercial team, which plays a crucial role in driving decision-making and growth through data.
• The position involves building and maintaining a Commercial data warehouse to support reporting, analytical, and self-service needs for stakeholders.
• Responsibilities include writing data transformation code in ELT pipelines, mentoring junior team members, and collaborating with various functions to improve data quality.
• The role requires applying advanced data engineering techniques to optimize data pipelines and leveraging AI and machine learning for model development.
• The engineer will also create and maintain data documentation and definitions, ensuring data quality through testing and version control.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in Data Analytics and/or Data Engineering, specifically in ETL/ELT processes or data insights development.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience using Python for data transformation is required.
• Experience with dbt (data build tool) and cloud data warehouses like Snowflake, BigQuery, and Redshift is essential.
• Hands-on experience in data modeling, schema design, and optimization techniques is necessary.
• A proven track record of implementing and maintaining data transformation pipelines using tools like dbt, Argo, or Airflow is required.
• Candidates should have a deep understanding of data engineering best practices, including version control, testing, and CI/CD methodologies.
• Effective communication skills for conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders are essential.
