Description:
Join the passionate and diverse Data Team at Treatwell as a Senior Data Analytics Engineer (Contractor).
Shape the future of the organization by ensuring data models and analytical capabilities keep up with the rapid pace of the business.
Take ownership of delivering data products to empower analysts, product managers, and key stakeholders with valuable insights.
Collaborate with various teams to understand their needs and translate them into actionable data assets.
Utilize SQL expertise to provide data in the best format through self-serve tools.
Work with open-source platforms like DBT, Airbyte, Docker, Gitlab, Grafana, and Airflow in the tech stack.
Utilize modern cloud platforms like Amazon AWS with services such as Redshift, ECS, Lambda, S3, EMR, EC2, and Athena.
Incorporate third-party tools like Snowplow, Fivetran, Looker, JIRA, and Slack to enhance the data strategy.
Responsible for data modeling, data warehouse design, data quality, documentation, and governance.
Automate analyses and tasks, foster a data-driven culture, and collaborate on broader analytics projects.
Requirements:
Strong experience in data modeling, including Dimensional Models and OBT.
Excellent SQL skills with a focus on writing performant queries; knowledge of Python is a plus.
Ability to communicate technical matters with engineers and stakeholders.
Experience working with various business functions like product, marketing, supply, commercial, and finance teams.
Proficiency in version control principles, git, and the command-line interface.
Familiarity with ETL Tools like DBT, GCP, SSIS, Databricks, Airflow.
Analytical mindset with exposure to data warehouses; experience with BI Visualization tools.
Prior experience with DBT and LookML is advantageous.
