Description:

The Senior Analytics Engineer will develop and maintain the analytics platform.
This role collaborates closely with business and product teams to identify critical questions, establish key success metrics, uncover opportunities, and influence data-driven business and product decisions.
The Senior Analytics Engineer also liaises between the business and engineering teams to ensure new features consider analytics impacts from the beginning.
Candidates for this role will be based in the United States and work remotely.
This is a high touch and high volume output role.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5-7 years of experience in a technical and highly analytical role.
They should be highly skilled at writing performant SQL to query relational databases.
Strong communication and presentation skills are required.
The ability to translate highly complex processes for non-technical audiences is essential.
Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic, fully-remote environment is necessary.
Candidates should have experience and passion for cleaning and transforming data into clear, easy-to-understand metrics and dashboards/visualizations (Looker, Tableau, etc.).
Experience with using data visualization to answer business questions is required.
Knowledge of external laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) is necessary.
Experience architecting data warehouses or relational databases is preferred.
The ability to provide mentorship to junior team members as the team grows is preferred.
Experience with ELT platforms and/or Snowflake, dbt, or Looker is preferred.
Familiarity with R or Python and data analysis is preferred.
