  • The company is looking for a seasoned Senior Data Architect with a passion for mentoring and a proven track record of implementing data standards across multiple teams.
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in training teams, rolling out new data standards, and ensuring that these are embraced at all levels of the organization through a collaborative approach.
  • Responsibilities include leading the development and implementation of data architecture standards and best practices across the organization.
  • The role involves conducting training sessions and workshops to educate and empower multiple teams on data standards and best practices.
  • The Senior Data Architect will work directly with teams to ensure understanding, buy-in, and proper implementation of data architecture strategies.
  • The position requires facilitating open communication and collaboration between teams to encourage shared ownership of data standards.
  • The candidate will assess and evaluate the effectiveness of data standards, making adjustments based on feedback and evolving needs.
  • Staying abreast of the latest trends and technologies in data architecture and incorporating these into training and standards is also essential.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in data architecture is necessary, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated experience in training teams and rolling out data standards in a multi-team environment is essential.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on relationship-building, negotiation, and consensus-building are required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex data concepts in understandable terms are necessary.
  • Experience with modern data technologies and architectures, including cloud services and big data platforms, is required.
