Description:

The Senior Data Architect will help lead the creation of a healthcare data lakehouse that will unify client data sources to power AI-driven RCM optimization.
The role involves architecting a purpose-built lakehouse specifically designed for healthcare RCM workflows.
Responsibilities include designing integration patterns for combining structured claims data with unstructured patient documentation.
The architect will establish pipelines for ingesting inconsistent client data formats such as 835/837 files, PDFs, and EHR extracts.
Implementing healthcare-specific security controls compliant with HIPAA regulations is a key responsibility.
The role requires creating data lineage frameworks to track sensitive PHI/PII through all transformations.
Building specialized connectors for major RCM systems, including EHRs, payers, and clearinghouses, is essential.
The architect will develop data quality rules specific to RCM metrics, including clean claim rate, denial rate, and A/R days.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 7-10 years of experience developing and leading data architecture.
A demonstrated success in unifying healthcare RCM data across multiple data sources is required.
A deep understanding of revenue cycle workflows and associated challenges with disparate data is necessary.
Experience in building systems that handle unstructured documentation is essential.
A track record of implementing solutions that process healthcare EDI transactions is required.
Candidates should have a history of creating data models that support revenue integrity analytics.
Experience with NLP for extracting insights from unstructured healthcare documents is preferred.
Experience leading multiple global teams is also required.
