Remote Senior Data Developer / Data Engineer, Brazil

Description:

• We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our team that serves clients in Brazil, Europe, and the United States.
• In this position, you will design, implement, and support data pipelines while collaborating with teams across various countries.
• You will have the opportunity to enhance your English skills through daily communication with different teams and clients.
• The main responsibilities include developing code for data tools on Cloud (Azure), supporting and troubleshooting existing data pipelines, and ensuring all systems meet business and industry requirements.
• You will also participate in the Data Validation process, design and maintain data management systems, and recommend improvements for data reliability and quality.
• Additional tasks involve analyzing raw data, building data-marts for data scientists, and integrating new technologies into existing data structures.

Requirements:

• Candidates must be fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• A solid experience in designing, building, and testing data pipelines is required.
• Experience using Infrastructure as Code in Python for data collection, cleaning, and transformation is necessary.
• Comfort with learning new frameworks and technologies is expected.
• Experience with Cloud Azure is essential.
• Candidates should have the ability to share knowledge with junior team members.
• Knowledge in areas such as PowerBI, non-functional requirements, unit testing, and data streaming technologies is preferred.
• A Cloud Certification (Azure or AWS) is a plus.
