The Data Team plays a vital role in enhancing player experiences through data-driven decision-making and innovative analytics tools.
The Senior Data Engineer will report to the Director of Data and will be responsible for building and operating data infrastructure to support marketing and game teams.
Key responsibilities include ensuring high-quality and accessible data, developing robust data pipelines, and collaborating with various teams to refine user acquisition and retention strategies.
Requirements:
Candidates must have extensive expertise in data infrastructure and data engineering.
Demonstrated experience with large-scale distributed data systems such as Spark and Flink is required.
Deep knowledge of analytical database technologies, including SQL and NoSQL, is essential.
Proficiency in SQL and Python is necessary for this role.
Experience with database technologies and ETL/ELT processes is required.
Familiarity with orchestration and automation tools like Airflow and Beam is needed.
Experience with Databricks and AWS-based data/analytics solutions is a must.
Knowledge of marketing platforms and data tools such as Braze and AppsFlyer is preferred.
Proven success in collaborative cross-functional work environments is essential.
A passion for serving a diverse and global player base is required.
