The Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for designing and building large-scale resilient data pipelines.
Key responsibilities include writing high-quality, reusable, testable, secure, and scalable code, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and discovering and implementing new technologies.

Requirements:

A BSc, MSc, or PhD degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience is required.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in Data Engineering or a similar role is necessary.
Strong experience with data modeling and ETL/ELT practices is essential.
Proficiency in one or more high-level programming languages such as Python or Java, particularly in batch and/or stream processing frameworks like Apache Spark, Apache Flink, or Kafka Streams is required.
Experience with relational and non-relational data stores, key-value stores, and search engines such as PostgreSQL, ScyllaDB, Druid, ClickHouse, Redis, Hazelcast, and Elasticsearch is needed.
Familiarity with data workflow orchestration tools like Airflow or dbt is important.
A deep understanding of storage formats such as Parquet, ORC, and/or Avro is required.
Strong experience with distributed systems and concurrent programming is necessary.
Experience with distributed storage systems like HDFS and/or S3 is required.
Familiarity with data lake and data warehouse solutions including Hive, Iceberg, and/or Delta Lake is a plus.
Proficiency in code versioning tools such as Git is necessary.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
