Description:
Design and develop scalable data infrastructure and solutions.
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and implement data solutions.
Implement data pipelines for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for performance.
Ensure data quality and integrity through data cleansing and validation processes.
Implement and maintain data governance and security measures.
Monitor and troubleshoot data systems to ensure availability and reliability.
Work with stakeholders to identify and address data-related issues and requirements.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior data engineers.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
6+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
Experience with Big Data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
Knowledge of data modeling and data architecture principles.
Strong programming skills in Python and DBT.
Experience with Snowflake or other cloud data services.
Knowledge of data integration techniques (e.g., ETL, data pipelines).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
