We are looking for a talented Senior Data Engineer to tackle large cross-functional problems and enhance data quality.
The role involves leading the architectural design of our data warehouse, focusing on improving data analytics capabilities and optimizing data warehousing costs and runtime.
Responsibilities include strategizing and iterating on database architecture, leading the design and implementation of data pipelines, mentoring team members, and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure data quality.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 6+ years of industry experience, including 3+ years in a senior Data Engineering role.
Expertise in SQL and strong proficiency in at least one major development language, preferably Python or JavaScript, is required.
A technical expert in the data space who thrives on tackling complex challenges and driving innovative solutions is essential.
A proven track record of improving data quality and optimization through project leadership is necessary.
Candidates should demonstrate the ability to translate business needs into project requirements and technical designs.
Strong communication skills and the ability to foster a collaborative environment are crucial.
Competence in domain-driven database design principles is required.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is necessary.
A very good command of English (written & spoken) is required.
Availability in the afternoons/evenings for collaboration with the United States is necessary.

The salary ranges from 24,000 to 30,000 PLN + VAT on B2B or equivalent on the contract of employment.
