Description:

OneSignal is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to organize and scale data across the company to drive visibility into performance and strategy across sales, marketing, product, operations, finance, and engineering efforts.
The Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain business-critical data and distributed systems to provide real-time and reliable data for go-to-market tools and internal users.
Responsibilities include connecting production backend/data to business systems, evaluating ways to increase efficiency of internal data flows, and building data systems, services, and tools using GCP.
The role involves working cross-functionally with various teams and introducing the latest tools for data management.
Building data validation processes to ensure high-quality data across the organization is also a key responsibility.

Requirements:

5+ years of professional experience in a technical area at a high-growth startup is preferred.
Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Airflow is required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, experience working cross-functionally, and an understanding of SaaS metrics and growth company infrastructure scaling challenges are necessary.
Experience modeling data in a growing and dynamic business environment is essential.
Experience with DBT and building data validation processes is a plus.

The base salary for this full-time position in New York and California ranges between $160,000 to $180,000, with the exact starting salary determined by experience, skills, and qualifications.
