Description:

Swapcard is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to build efficient and robust data pipelines for large volumes of data from internal databases and SaaS applications, using tools such as Fivetran, Airbyte, or Python.
The role involves developing and optimizing transformation data models using Redshift, Dbt, Dagster, and other tools.
Responsibilities include monitoring and maintaining the cloud data warehouse (Redshift) to ensure timely and quality data.
The Senior Data Engineer will set and ensure data engineering standards as part of the department goals.
Collaboration with other teams is essential to address data engineering needs and requests.
The position also requires creating and maintaining documentation.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of hands-on experience deploying code in production.
A demonstrably deep understanding of SQL and data warehousing is required.
Hands-on experience implementing ETL processes is necessary.
Experience delivering transformation pipelines with Dbt is essential.
Proficiency in Python is required.
Experience working with a workflow orchestrator such as Airflow, Dagster, Prefect, or Kestra is needed.
Fluency in English is mandatory.
