Description:
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain the data infrastructure that powers our decision-making and operations.
In this role, you will work closely with teams across the organization to build reliable ETL pipelines, design scalable workflows, and create efficient data models.
Your work will enable teams to unlock insights and make data-driven decisions.
This is a high-impact role in a remote-first company, offering the opportunity to lead key initiatives and shape the future of our data platform.
Responsibilities include designing and maintaining ETL processes to ensure data is accessible, accurate, and up-to-date.
You will build and optimize data workflows and pipelines, ensuring scalability and reliability.
You will develop and manage data models that support analytics and reporting needs.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and best practices is essential.
You will leverage tools like dbt and Snowflake (preferred) to enhance data infrastructure and performance.
Monitoring and troubleshooting data pipelines to ensure smooth operation and minimal downtime is part of the role.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Data Engineer, with expertise in ETL development and data workflows is required.
Proficiency with dbt and Snowflake is a strong plus.
A strong understanding of data modeling and data warehousing principles is necessary.
Familiarity with building scalable, automated workflows for large datasets is important.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on efficiency and optimization are essential.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams are required.
A college degree is absolutely NOT required.
Being located in or authorized to work in the United States is also absolutely NOT required.
