Accompany Health is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to help shape the future of healthcare data.
The role involves collaborating across various teams, including Product, Sales, and Clinical Operations, to rewire healthcare.
The Senior Data Engineer will drive change by building products that integrate fragmented healthcare services into an end-to-end experience.
Responsibilities include being a data champion, architecting and owning the data platform strategy, and leading the design and implementation of scalable data infrastructure.
The engineer will partner with Product to translate business requirements into a technical roadmap and architecture for the platform.
The role also involves creating and maintaining data engineering best practices, assembling large data sets, and building infrastructure for optimal data extraction, transformation, and loading.
The engineer will work with various teams to assist with data-related technical issues and create data tools for analytics and data science teams.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 7+ years of hands-on data engineering experience and a graduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
The ability to build large-scale data pipeline architecture, including data lakes and stream processing, is required.
Strong SQL and data modeling skills are necessary, with experience handling both structured and unstructured datasets.
A proven track record of building scalable data transformation processes and implementing robust data governance is essential.
Candidates should possess strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets and the ability to solve complex data challenges using modern big data technologies.
Experience with root cause analysis on data and turning requirements into technical solutions is required.
Exceptional project management, communication, and organizational skills are necessary, and healthcare experience is a plus but not required.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $165,000-$195,000, plus equity and benefits.
Salary is determined by role, level, location, and individual factors such as skills and experience.
