Remote Senior Data Engineer

Description:

• As a Senior Data Engineer at MNTN, you will play a crucial role in building a platform to generate, track, manage, and triage key business and client success metrics.
• You will become an expert on the MNTN platforms, UI, data infrastructure, and data processes.
• Responsibilities include extracting meaningful business metrics from raw data using SQL and other tools, creating and managing ETL/ELT workflows, organizing data and metrics for reporting, and investigating critical incidents.
• The goal is to provide rapid insights across all available information to enhance the marketing experience.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, analysis, and modeling complex data.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, data modeling, manipulating and extracting large data sets.
• Hands-on experience with data warehouse technologies, building data pipelines, designing ETL flows, and familiarity with programming languages like Python, Java, or shell scripting.
• Knowledge of software processes and tools such as Git, CI/CD pipelines, Linux, and Airflow.
• Experience working in a cloud computing environment like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences.
