Remote Senior Data Engineer

Description:

• Beam is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their engineering team and play a crucial role in building and maintaining their data platform.
• The role involves working collaboratively with business domain experts, analytics, and engineering teams to establish a solid data foundation for the company.
• Responsibilities include developing and managing data pipelines, data warehouse, and the overall data platform to support organizational needs.
• The Senior Data Engineer will also work on deploying machine learning resources within the company.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in cloud data architecture (AWS, GCP), preferably in the insurance domain.
• 2-3 years of experience in data warehousing and Advanced Python.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-code, SQL concepts (including window functions), Workflow orchestration tools like Dagster or Airflow, Docker, and transformation tools like dbt.
• Familiarity with SaaS ETL tools such as Fivetran, BI visualization tools like Tableau or Looker, and reading Ruby code.
• Experience with SaaS data sources like Salesforce, Hubspot, and Google Analytics is a plus.
• Nice to have experience in Machine learning operations.
