Description:
The Senior Data Engineer will manage the data pipeline infrastructure, specifically using Redshift and DMS, with knowledge of zero-ETL being a plus.
This role involves managing the DBT implementation and developing new data models and pipelines.
The engineer will identify and prioritize opportunities to improve data quality, data capture, accessibility, and governance.
They will create data models that provide business visibility into metrics such as user engagement, growth, and customer health.
The position requires sharing knowledge across teams and developing best practices and standards for analytics engineering and data warehousing.
The engineer will automate processes to increase the efficiency of data analysis across Torch.
Collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders is essential to understand business needs and deliver data products that enable smarter decision-making.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience as an Analytics Engineer, Data Analyst, or Data Engineer.
A minimum of 2+ years of experience with DBT, DMS, Redshift, or similar tools is required.
Expertise in SQL, Python, and data modeling concepts is necessary.
Experience with a modern business intelligence tool, preferably Preset or Superset, is expected.
Familiarity with version control tools such as Git is required.
