Remote Senior Data Engineer

Description:

• Claritas Rx is a digital health startup focused on specialty biopharmaceutical products.
• The Senior Data Engineer will work on data engineering initiatives for the Data Aggregation product roadmap.
• Responsibilities include designing, building, and overseeing technology architecture, managing structured and unstructured data, developing tools to cleanse and transform data, and ensuring data integrity.
• The role involves collaborating with various teams, reviewing business requirements, fostering innovation, and staying updated on industry trends.
• The position requires developing secure production code, overseeing live operations, implementing multi-tenant systems, and solving technical challenges related to security and distributed systems.

Requirements:

• Expertise in data architecture, ELT development, data modeling, and BI systems.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience with strong programming skills in Python/Java.
• Proficiency in relational databases, SQL querying, ETL processes, and data concepts.
• Excellent communication skills and a degree in computer science or related field.
• Experience with Agile software development, enterprise-class software releases, and SaaS environments.
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
• Familiarity with Bug Tracking tools like JIRA.

Preferred:

• Experience with AWS, Agile Methodology, healthcare industry, and HIPAA/SOC/HITRUST requirements.
