Description:

  • Join 3Pillar as a Senior Data Engineer and embark on an exciting journey in software development.
  • Contribute to projects that reshape data analytics for clients, providing them with a competitive advantage.
  • Work with scrum teams to deliver product stories based on customer priorities and Product Owners' guidance.
  • Interact with stakeholders and provide knowledge transfer to team members.
  • Engage in working with big data pipelines into Microsoft BI technologies as a BI Developer.

Requirements:

  • Must have experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure and technologies, including DMS, Glue, and Step Functions.
  • Knowledge in RDBMS is required.
  • Strong experience in Python and Typescript is essential.
  • Must be knowledgeable in data workload/job orchestration and batch automation technologies, including Linux shell scripting and process orchestration tools.
  • Experience in designing and building data environments to support reporting and analytics, including data integrations and flow between disparate data systems, is necessary.
  • Must have experience with data modeling, data engineering, and/or data warehouse building.
  • A self-starter with the ability to work with little direction is required.
  • Must possess critical thinking skills, natural intellectual curiosity, and strong analytical skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in AWS data pipelines in a financial organization is required.
  • Experience in writing, troubleshooting, and optimizing T-SQL queries is necessary.
  • Experience with Azure SQL is required.
  • Must have experience designing and implementing Microsoft Power BI datasets, reports, and dashboards.
  • Familiarity with SQL Server Management Studio and/or Azure Data Studio is necessary.
  • Additional experience with Informatica and Teradata, process orchestration tools like ActiveBatch, and data visualization is desired.
