Remote Senior Data Engineer

Description:

• As a Senior Data Engineer at SADA India, you will be part of the Enterprise Support service team, focusing on reducing customer anxiety about running production workloads in the cloud.
• Your responsibilities will include implementing and improving observability and reliability, defining, measuring, and improving key business metrics, eliminating toil through automation, inspecting code and design, enabling experimentation, and building customer trust through education and skill sharing.
• You will work closely with customers, SADA's Customer Experience team, and Professional Services on large projects.
• The role involves regular interactions with customers at various touchpoints throughout the engagement.
• The first few weeks will be dedicated to onboarding and training, including compliance training and learning materials.

Requirements:

• Must be Google Professional Data Engineer Certified or able to complete certification within the first 45 days of employment.
• Required to have a secondary Google Cloud certification in any other specialization.
• Need to have at least 4 years of experience in Cloud support and working with Google Cloud data products.
• Proficiency in at least two programming languages such as Python, Java, Scala, or Go is essential.
• Experience in building production-grade data solutions, systems monitoring/alerting, capacity planning, and performance tuning is required.
• Familiarity with BI tools like Tableau and Looker is advantageous.
• A consultative mindset to understand customer requirements and provide accurate solutions is necessary.
