Remote Senior Data Engineer

Description:

• Claritas Rx, a digital health startup, is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to work on data engineering initiatives for their Data Aggregation product roadmap.
• The role involves designing, building, and overseeing technology architecture to capture, manage, and utilize structured and unstructured data from various sources.
• Responsibilities include developing tools to cleanse and transform data, establishing design standards for software development, and ensuring operational readiness of services.
• The position requires solving complex data and technology problems, staying up-to-date with industry trends, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• The ideal candidate will have expertise in data architecture, business intelligence systems, and programming skills in Python/Java, along with strong relational database skills and experience with Agile software development.
• Preferred qualifications include experience in AWS, Agile Methodology, healthcare, and familiarity with HIPAA/SOC/HITRUST requirements.

Requirements:

• Expertise in data architecture, ELT development, data modeling, report design, and BI dashboard design.
• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Excellent programming skills in Python/Java and strong relational database skills.
• Experience with ETL, data structures, metadata, workflow management, and SQL querying.
• Ability to solve complex data and technology problems and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• Experience with Agile software development and Bug Tracking tools like JIRA.
