Description:

  • Accompany Health is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their mission-driven team focused on providing high-quality care to low-income patients with complex needs.
  • The role is remote and involves collaboration with various teams, including Product, Sales, and Clinical Operations, to enhance healthcare services.
  • Responsibilities include acting as a data champion, understanding the complex data ecosystem, and translating business requirements into a technical roadmap.
  • The Senior Data Engineer will lead the design and implementation of scalable data infrastructure and data-driven products.
  • The position requires creating and maintaining optimal data pipeline architecture and assembling large, complex data sets.
  • The engineer will also build infrastructure for data extraction, transformation, and loading from various sources using SQL.
  • The role involves supporting stakeholders with data-related technical issues and creating data tools for analytics and data science teams.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must be entrepreneurial and mission-driven, with the ability to present ideas clearly and confidently.
  • Advanced working knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases is required.
  • Experience in building and optimizing big data pipelines and architectures is essential, preferably with healthcare experience.
  • Strong analytic skills for working with unstructured datasets and performing root cause analysis are necessary.
  • Candidates should have a successful history of manipulating and extracting value from large disconnected datasets.
  • Knowledge of message queuing, stream processing, and scalable big data stores is required.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills are essential, along with experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in a Data Engineer role and a Graduate degree in a quantitative field is required.
