  • The position is for a Senior Data Engineer, fully remote, available to all LATAM countries.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Database Management Systems (DBMS) including relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL, as well as NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
  • Experience with data modeling and design tools such as ER/Studio and IBM Data Architect.
  • Knowledge of big data technologies, specifically Apache Hadoop and Apache Spark.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing solutions including Amazon Redshift and Snowflake.
  • Expertise in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools like Apache NiFi, Talend, and Informatica.
  • Skills in data integration using Apache Kafka, Microsoft Azure Data Factory, and Apache Flink.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Amazon Web Services (AWS), and tools for data security like Apache Ranger and HashiCorp Vault.
  • Proficiency in data visualization and BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Looker.
  • Ability to collaborate and document using tools like Confluence and Jira.
  • Strong programming skills in SQL, Python, and R for data analysis and scripting.
  • Experience with version control systems, specifically Git.
