Remote Senior Data Engineer (AWS)

Description:

• Aryng is looking for a Senior Data Engineer with experience in developing enterprise-class distributed data engineering solutions on the cloud.
• The role involves implementing a large-scale, highly efficient data platform, batch, and real-time pipelines and tools for Aryng clients.
• This position is based out of India and requires collaboration with a team of data scientists, business analysts, and engineers.
• Key responsibilities include implementing asynchronous data ingestion, high volume stream data processing, and real-time data analytics using various Data Engineering Techniques.
• The candidate will implement application components using Cloud technologies and infrastructure.
• The role also involves defining data pipelines and identifying bottlenecks to enable the adoption of data management methodologies.
• The candidate will implement cutting-edge cloud platform solutions using the latest tools and platforms offered by GCP, AWS, and Azure.
• Functional capabilities required include requirement gathering, client management, team handling, program delivery, project management, project estimation, scope of project, and Agile methodology.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of data engineering experience is required.
• Exposure to AWS, with hands-on experience in AWS Glue, Python, and Redshift is preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience implementing and managing data engineering solutions using Cloud solutions such as GCP, AWS, Azure, or on-premise distributed servers.
• The candidate should be comfortable working and interacting with clients.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Python is required.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and its concepts is necessary.
• Experience with Big Query, Snowflake, Redshift, and DBT is required.
• A strong understanding of data warehousing, data lake, and cloud concepts is essential.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills are required.
• The candidate must possess excellent problem-solving skills, be highly proactive, and self-driven.
• A consulting background is considered a big plus.
• A B.S. in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related area of study is mandatory.
• Good to have experience in Apache Beam, Hadoop, Airflow, Kafka, Spark, and familiarity with Tableau, Looker, or other BI tools.
