Description:

ShiftKey is a platform that connects healthcare facilities with licensed and certified professionals to address staffing shortages.
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will improve data infrastructure and build self-service data products.
You will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines to handle large volumes of data.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and software engineers, is essential to ensure data accessibility and reliability.
Responsibilities include designing and optimizing data pipelines, managing data storage platforms, monitoring and troubleshooting data processes, and enforcing data governance policies.
Staying updated with emerging technologies and identifying opportunities for enhancing data processing efficiency is also part of the role.

Requirements:

You must have 6+ years of experience in a Data Engineer or similar role.
Advanced skills in designing and implementing data pipelines and ELT/ETL processes using Fivetran or Airflow are required.
Hands-on experience with programming languages such as Python or JavaScript is necessary.
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure and related services is essential.
In-depth knowledge of SQL and data warehousing concepts is required.
Familiarity with data orchestration tools like Apache Airflow and workflow automation is needed.
A strong understanding of data modeling, integration, and governance principles is important.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues are required.
Strong communication and collaboration skills are necessary for effective teamwork.
