• As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be part of the Enterprise Data and Technology (EDT) team, focusing on corporate data assets' quality, availability, and security.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable software solutions.
• Your responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining high-quality software applications.
• You will write clean, maintainable code, participate in code reviews, and address technical debt and performance issues.
• You will stay updated with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to enhance products and services.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role is necessary.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, PySpark, or Scala is essential.
• Expertise in big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka is required.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and NoSQL databases is needed.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP, and their data services is important.
• Experience with versioning tools like Bitbucket, GitHub, and GitLab is required.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and data pipeline processes is necessary.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities are required.
• Knowledge of FinTech is a plus, and familiarity or certification in Databricks is also advantageous.
