Remote Senior Data Engineer

• The Senior Data Engineer will help build and scale data systems that process petabytes of data to provide important insights to teams.
• This role involves managing the entire ETL & data warehousing process, facilitating data usage for data scientists, analysts, and engineers.

• Responsibilities include developing and maintaining data pipelines, ingesting and maintaining data assets, designing and launching new data models in production using DBT, collaborating with various stakeholders to define data solutions, and building data platforms for analysts and product managers.

Requirements:

• A BS degree in a STEM field is required.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for building data pipelines is necessary.
• Experience with data warehousing tools such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift, and transform tools like DBT or SQLMesh is essential.
• The candidate should have experience mentoring and leading other data engineers and analysts.
• Experience working with cloud providers like AWS or GCP is required.
• Bonus points for knowledge of data governance best practices and experience with DBT and data modeling.
