Remote Senior Data Engineer

Description:

• The Senior Data Engineer at Nitrogen will be responsible for architecting, building, and shipping high-quality features and improvements to products.
• The role involves leading by example, setting high standards, supporting and mentoring engineers, and contributing to the architecture roadmap.
• The position requires working on important ETL processes, thinking holistically about software, sharing knowledge, and maintaining a positive attitude towards work and life.
• The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, have strong communication skills, understand team priorities, and treat coworkers with respect.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of data engineering experience with SQL, NoSQL, Kafka, ETL Tools, Data Lakes & Data Warehouses.
• 2+ years of DataOps experience with AWS (DMS, Airflow), Terraform, Docker.
• Proficiency in Python programming, familiarity with data testing, and expertise in data pipelines, streaming data, and ETL workflows.
• Soft skills are crucial, along with a B2 level of English proficiency and tax residency status in Poland.
• Desired experience with Snowflake, AI, and a compensation range of 25k PLN - 29k PLN.
