Essential duties include designing, implementing, and maintaining robust ETL/ELT pipelines, architecting and optimizing data models, developing scalable data processing frameworks using PySpark and Apache Spark, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities also include managing data storage solutions in Amazon Redshift, ensuring data quality and integrity, automating data workflows, monitoring data pipelines, and driving best practices for data engineering.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
Strong experience with OLAP data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL pipeline development is required.
Proficiency in PySpark for distributed data processing is essential.
A deep understanding of AWS services, particularly those related to data such as S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, EMR, is necessary.
Experience in designing solutions for OLTP systems and integrating transactional data sources is required.
Candidates should have solid hands-on experience with Amazon Redshift, including performance tuning and query optimization.
Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation across large datasets is expected.
Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance practices is important.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are required.
Candidates must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and be team players.
Experience working within agile environments is preferred.
