HomeLight is a technology platform that facilitates real estate transactions for homebuyers and sellers.

The Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for the development, optimization, and operation of the data pipeline.
This role involves collecting, processing, and distributing data to various HomeLight products and teams.
The engineer will provide critical data to algorithms and internal users, helping to refine products and identify new markets.
Key projects include optimizing data requests, partnering with team leaders to build performance metrics, improving data release processes, designing systems for data ingestion and transformation, and developing new databases and data warehouses.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in Python and ETL, preferably with Airflow.
Experience in writing and executing complex SQL queries is required.
Candidates should have experience in building data pipelines and ETL design, including implementation and maintenance.
Familiarity with the Scrum/Agile software development process is necessary.
