• Jobber is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their Data Platform team, working remotely in Canada.

• The Senior Data Engineer will design, develop, and maintain batch and real-time data pipelines using AWS technologies, Python, and SQL.

• The role involves leading initiatives for new technologies, participating in design and code reviews, and ensuring data integrity across the organization.

Requirements:

• Proven leadership skills and the ability to foster a collaborative team environment.
• Strong coding skills in Python and SQL.
• Expertise in building and maintaining ETL pipelines using tools like Airflow and dbt.
• Experience with AWS data infrastructure, particularly Redshift, Glue, Lambda, and ECS Fargate.
• Familiarity with handling large datasets using tools like Spark or similar.
• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure management.
• Knowledge of dimensional modeling, star schemas, and data warehousing in a cloud environment.
• Understanding of CI/CD processes, data ingestion, and optimizing data flow.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams.
