Description:

Talentus is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their team on a temporary basis for 6 to 8 weeks.
The role requires a deep understanding of data management tools, data migration, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable data solutions.
Responsibilities include utilizing Dataiku for data preparation, analysis, and workflow automation.
The engineer will deconstruct complex SQL statements to understand data flows and transformation logic.
Data migration to IDMC (Informatica Data Management Cloud) is required, ensuring quality and validation.
The role involves using Snowflake to extract data and convert it into formats compatible with IDMC.
Close collaboration with the business team is necessary to validate data accuracy and ensure alignment with business requirements.
The engineer will provide support for 1-2 products, such as VSM and Flash, ensuring data-related needs are met.

Requirements:

Candidates must have experience with Dataiku, a data science and machine learning platform.
Expertise in IDMC (Informatica Data Management Cloud) for data integration, data management, and quality assurance is required.
Strong knowledge of SQL statements and their flow within IDMC, focusing on quality and validation, is essential.
Basic experience in Python is required, with collaboration expected with a team that includes Python experts.
Preferred experiences include knowledge of Snowflake, familiarity with Informatica tools for ETL processes, and experience with Tableau for data visualization.
Candidates should possess strong analytical thinking skills to deconstruct complex SQL queries and assess data quality for migration processes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration with business stakeholders and technical teams.
Experience working in agile development environments, promoting teamwork and continuous learning, is preferred.
Candidates must have the ability to adapt quickly to new data tools and methodologies in a fast-paced environment.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required, along with relevant technical certifications being a plus.
A minimum of 5-10+ years of experience in data engineering, data integration, or a similar role is required.
