Remote Senior Data Engineer

Description:

• Atimi is seeking an experienced data engineer to work remotely from Vancouver, Canada, with candidates from all provinces welcome.

• Responsibilities include implementing data mining solutions, ETL processes, and infrastructure for data analysis using software engineering best practices.
• The position requires expertise in SQL, data warehousing, AWS technologies, Linux scripting, business intelligence tools, distributed computing, and data mining algorithms.
• Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and at least 3 years of experience in business intelligence roles.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with colleagues, partners, and clients are essential.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Finance, Statistics, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or consumer analytics.
• Expert knowledge of SQL, data warehousing, and AWS technologies.
• Familiarity with Linux scripting and business intelligence reporting tools.
• Hands-on experience with distributed computing, NoSQL databases, and data mining algorithms.
• Experience in data warehouse and relational database design.
• Strong English skills (written and verbal).
