Description:
The Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for building bespoke Data Analytics and Intelligence platforms for clients within the Burson Global, EMEA team.
The role involves leveraging low code / no code and cloud technologies to integrate established and new products into the business ecosystem.
Responsibilities include incorporating AI-based features into products and contributing to DevOps for Burson owned platforms.
The position requires working remotely as part of a distributed development team collaborating with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and functions.
Requirements:
Qualification in Computer Science or comparable practical experience.
Experience in designing and implementing end-to-end business intelligence solutions.
Proficiency in Python and familiarity with additional scripting languages and/or programming languages such as Java, R, DAX, M.
Knowledge of cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure and experience with cloud-based infrastructure and services.
Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases, data lakes, and data preparation techniques.
Experience working with Machine Learning algorithms and AI components in data pipelines.
Ability to lead client inspection sessions, establish expectations, and maintain communication with stakeholders.
Familiarity with agile methodologies, DevOps culture, version control systems, API development, and testing/debugging.
