The Senior Data Engineer will be a key technical contributor, responsible for building and maintaining data pipelines and infrastructure.
The role involves shaping and implementing the data roadmap, enhancing pipeline structure, robustness, and testing, while overseeing cloud infrastructure.
Ensuring data quality, governance, and security best practices is essential.
The engineer will collaborate with other engineers, product managers, and team members to make quick, effective decisions that drive business outcomes.
Fostering a positive and ambitious team culture within the Data team is also a key responsibility.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 6+ years of experience in data engineering.
Expertise in at least one high-level programming language such as Python, Julia, R, Matlab, or Go is required.
Familiarity with terraform, cloud logs, and SQL databases is necessary.
Experience with production systems and CI/CD processes is expected.
Candidates should be comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment and have a bias for action.
Excellent listening and communication skills are essential.
Regardless of experience, candidates should be able to communicate effectively with engineers, data scientists, and other business disciplines.
Strong social and emotional intelligence, empathy, and problem-solving skills are important.

The position offers a salary range of £75,000 - £105,000, classified under Ravio Band: P4.
