  • As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for building and scaling the data infrastructure that supports analytics, product features, and business operations.
  • Your role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining efficient data pipelines and optimizing the Snowflake data warehouse for performance and reliability.

Requirements:

  • You must have 5+ years of experience in data engineering, focusing on building and maintaining production-grade data pipelines and data warehouses.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python is required for data manipulation, pipeline development, and scripting.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-based data warehousing solutions, preferably Snowflake, is essential.
  • You should have experience with ETL/ELT tools and frameworks, such as Fivetran or Airflow.
  • Familiarity with data transformation tools, particularly dbt, is necessary.
  • A strong understanding of data modeling concepts, including dimensional modeling and normalization, is required.
  • Experience with relevant AWS cloud services (S3, EC2, Lambda, IAM) is needed.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD practices for data pipelines is important.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment are required.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is necessary.
