The Data Platform team consists of six experienced members responsible for critical ETL processes, valuing human opinions and humor in daily interactions.
The candidate will work independently or with minimal help to implement functionalities, contribute to the architecture roadmap, and ensure the software is functional, maintainable, and testable.
The role requires a positive attitude, attention to detail, clear communication, and respect for colleagues.
Requirements:
The candidate must have 4+ years of experience in data engineering, including SQL, NoSQL, Kafka, ETL Tools, Data Lakes, and Data Warehouses.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in DataOps, specifically with AWS - DMS and Airflow, Terraform, and Docker is required.
Experience with data warehousing solutions, preferably Snowflake, as a developer is necessary.
The candidate should have at least 2 years of programming experience in Python.
Familiarity with data testing is required.
Deep expertise in data pipelines, streaming data, and ETL workflows, with a preference for DBT, is essential.
Strong soft skills are important to maintain the positive atmosphere within the team.
Knowledge of the Polish language for team communication is required.
B2 level English skills are necessary for meetings with US teams.
The candidate must have tax residency status in Poland.
Experience with AI is a nice-to-have.
The expected monthly compensation range for this position is 24k PLN - 28.5k PLN, with potential for exceptional candidates to exceed this budget.
