Remote Senior Data Engineer - GP

Description:

• Gorilla Logic is looking for a Senior Data Engineer for a remote position in Colombia or Costa Rica.
• This is a unique and highly technical role responsible for data analysis within the enterprise.
• The role involves working with multiple data sources, aggregating data into data lakes, and transforming data into value.

• The candidate will build data systems, data models, and data pipelines.

• The candidate will conduct complex data analysis and develop reports.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience, is required.
• The candidate must have 5+ years of development and/or data engineering experience.
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SSRS is necessary.
• The role requires 3+ years of experience using programming languages such as Python, Java, and/or .Net/C#.
• Exceptional experience with complex SQL queries is required.
• Familiarity with data warehouse schemas is necessary.
• The candidate must have the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills are essential for interaction within the team and across the business.
• Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills are required.
