Description:

• Articulate is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their Data team in a full-time remote position.
• The role involves building robust and scalable data solutions to support the company's growth and data-driven decision-making.
• Responsibilities include creating and maintaining infrastructure for data extraction, transformation, and loading from various sources using tools like Terraform, Stitch, dbt, and Snowflake.
• The engineer will design and implement high-performance, reusable, and scalable data pipelines to ensure reliable data access for end-users.
• Collaboration with Dev-Ops and Product Engineering is essential to build scalable data pipelines from application data and event streams.
• The position requires enabling other engineers with well-designed CI/CD pipelines to enhance confidence in data deployments.
• The engineer will contribute to adopting strong data engineering architecture, development practices, and new technologies.
• Identifying and implementing internal process improvements, such as automating manual processes and optimizing data delivery, is a key responsibility.
• Advocacy for data governance, security, privacy, quality, and retention is expected.

Requirements:

• Candidates should have 5-8 years of experience in building, operating, and maintaining fault-tolerant and scalable data pipelines from diverse sources using AWS, Snowflake, or similar technologies.
• Proficiency in SQL and an object-oriented programming language (such as Python or Java) is required.
• A BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience is necessary.
• The ideal candidate must demonstrate rigorous attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills are essential, as the team operates in a fully virtual environment.
• A strong curiosity and drive to understand and clarify complex topics is important for success in this role.

Benefits:

• The salary range for this position is between $126,100 and $189,100, depending on experience and qualifications.
