Remote Senior Data Engineer II

Description:

• Cruise is seeking a Senior Data Engineer II to work remotely in the US.
• The role involves architecting and automating end-to-end data processing and data management lifecycle on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional partners to capture requirements and build a robust data platform.
• The Senior Data Engineer will perform data analysis, build data pipelines, and create canonical datasets and domain data models to enable data-driven business decisions.
• The position also involves mentoring junior team members.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering on BigData Systems.
• Proficiency in Data Lakes, Data Warehouse, Lakehouse, and Relational Databases.
• Experience orchestrating ETL/ELT Data pipelines.
• Strong skills in Python/Java/C programming languages, Data Modeling, and SQL programming.
