Description:
Cruise is seeking a Senior Data Engineer II to work remotely in the US.
The role involves architecting and automating end-to-end data processing and data management lifecycle on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional partners to capture requirements and build a robust data platform.
The Senior Data Engineer will perform data analysis, build data pipelines, and create canonical datasets and domain data models to enable data-driven business decisions.
The position also involves mentoring junior team members.
Requirements:
4+ years of experience in Data Engineering on BigData Systems.
Proficiency in Data Lakes, Data Warehouse, Lakehouse, and Relational Databases.
Experience orchestrating ETL/ELT Data pipelines.
Strong skills in Python/Java/C programming languages, Data Modeling, and SQL programming.
Benefits:
Competitive salary ranging from $142,800 to $210,000, depending on location, knowledge, skills, and experience.
