Description:
AuditBoard is seeking a highly motivated Senior Data Engineer II to lead large, strategic, and complex projects aimed at developing scalable systems that enhance product analytics capabilities.
The role involves navigating complex environments and transforming challenges into robust infrastructure that improves operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities include driving the success of Product Analytics Architecture, building and optimizing data services, and collaborating with various teams to design data integration solutions.
The candidate will troubleshoot software bugs, implement back-end APIs in Node.js, and work on the Ember SPA front-end.
The position requires mentoring fellow engineers and negotiating with stakeholders on prioritizing commitments.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 8+ years of experience in software engineering.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in data mining, querying, and managing investigative projects is required.
At least 5 years of experience in building data pipelines and 3 years in data compliance and governance is necessary.
Proficiency in a modern front-end framework (such as Ember, Angular, React, or Vue) and experience writing REST/JSON APIs is essential.
High proficiency in SQL and Python, along with experience in SQL, relational databases, and modern database technologies, is required.
A good understanding of web services and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) standards is necessary.
Candidates should possess the ability to solve technical problems independently.
