Remote Senior Data Engineer - Integrations [Remote in the US]

Description:

• Rockerbox empowers marketers to navigate modern marketing measurement complexities with a unified approach that combines Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA), Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), and Testing.
• The Integrations team manages and scales data pipelines that ingest marketing data from third-party APIs, ensuring it is validated, aggregated, and delivered seamlessly to customers.
• As a Senior Data Engineer, you will tackle technical challenges to build scalable, resilient, and cost-efficient data systems.
• You will collaborate across teams to design solutions that meet customer needs, mentor other engineers, and enhance engineering processes.
• Responsibilities include scoping and owning projects to build, improve, and maintain scalable data ingests and pipelines, designing and implementing resilient solutions, leading technical initiatives, sharing knowledge through design and code reviews, and evaluating emerging technologies.

Requirements:

• You must have 7+ years of experience as a Data Engineer and deep expertise in AWS services, preferably Redshift.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with Kubernetes (K8s) is required.
• You should be comfortable ingesting data from third-party APIs and familiar with modern orchestration tools such as Airflow.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform is necessary.
• You should have experience mentoring engineers and enjoy sharing knowledge in areas like data warehousing, pipelines, and architecture.
• A product mindset is essential, balancing technical excellence with business needs to deliver scalable solutions.
• You must be able to communicate complex topics clearly, whether writing technical specifications or aligning stakeholders around project plans.
