Remote Senior Data Engineer LATAM (Remote)

Description:

• The Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for facilitating the operations of Data Scientists by employing machine learning techniques to create and sustain structures for data analysis.
• Tasks include liaising with coworkers and clients to understand project requirements, conceptualizing and generating infrastructure for big data analysis, optimizing existing frameworks, testing structures, preparing raw data for Data Scientists, detecting and correcting errors, and staying updated on industry standards.
• The role involves collaborating with coworkers to ensure project needs are met and managing a pipeline of duties with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Engineering, Big Data Analytics, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Master's degree in a relevant field is advantageous.
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer, Software Developer, or similar role.
• Expert proficiency in Python, C++, Java, R, and SQL.
• Familiarity with Hadoop or equivalent technology.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Detail-oriented with the capacity to manage tasks with minimal supervision.
